A clear brief makes distance easier.

When your organisation is based outside Ghana, start by separating what is decided from what still needs discussion. You may have a fixed event date but no venue, or a film concept without a final interview list. Share both the decisions and the open questions so the production conversation can focus on what matters.

Our services are available to local businesses and organisations too. This guide is for clients coordinating a Ghana production from another country; it does not assume that your team needs to travel or that every project has the same requirements.

Choose the right production brief.

For an event, include your audience, programme, venue and technical requirements. For a film, explain the story, subjects, locations and intended use. For a live stream, include the platform, viewer access and venue connectivity. If you need several services, list the deliverables together so the requirements can be considered as one project.

Make remote coordination specific.

Send the name of the person approving the creative and technical brief, along with any local contact. Include your working time zone, key review dates and any brand or procurement documents that affect the project. Accra uses GMT / UTC +0, which provides a clear reference when arranging a conversation.

For film and visual content, list the intended channels, required formats, language or subtitle requirements and any usage permissions that need discussion. For events, share the running order and venue access details as they become available.

Confirm practical requirements before committing.

Availability, the final scope and the price need to be agreed for your individual project. Flag anything that may affect filming access, venue permissions, rights to use material or the event schedule. If your team intends to travel, include the proposed dates and local arrangements in the discussion.

Rather than assuming a standard package covers everything, ask what is included, what information is still needed and which responsibilities sit with each party. That gives both your organisation and the production team a clearer basis for planning.
